In Restoration Fellowship, we restore…
Restoration Fellowship is situated in George, South Africa, at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains. We are a community with Yeshua (Jesus) as our foundation. His resurrection changed our world forever and through Him we find the way to God’s love. The cross is not our end goal, but the starting point of our life’s journey.
Walking in the footsteps of our Messiah, we humbly follow the truth of the Word. We attempt to live lives lead by the example He set by His life and the guidelines He gave in His teachings. Our aim is to restore our lives to live as our Hebrew Messiah did, to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8).
Restoration is an ongoing process as we continue to study, observe and submit ourselves to the reign of our King through His Word and the relationship with His son, Yeshua. When Yeshua came, He reconstituted the Torah, presenting it as a constitution that is lived from the heart and not simply regarded as a checklist. We see the whole Word of God as divinely inspired, profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16).
Collectively we rediscover and restore the ancient paths of His Word (Jer 6:16), walking in Spirit and in Truth, steadily and in unity. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit we follow the direction of God as is expressed in His Word. Encouraging one another to bear the fruit of His Spirit in a broken world, we trust in His gifts to restore us to be the ambassadors of the Kingdom He requires us to be.
In Restoration Fellowship, we restore relationships where possible, respecting and valuing one another. We come together to celebrate God’s mercy, grace and goodness. In our fellowship we thrive to show forth His love within and outside of our community. Though the community of Restoration Fellowship is as diverse as the Body of Messiah, we all find a common identity in Him. We are a congregation created for believers of all backgrounds to gather and celebrate our common Biblical heritage in Messiah.
